Gators Get Another Verbal Commitment

The University of Florida football team got another verbal commitment for the 2008 class when linebacker Lerentee McCray of Dunnellon gave the Gators his verbal pledge yesterday afternoon.

McCray committed to the Gators over Florida State; he had visited the FSU campus officially last weekend but it wasn't enough to make him choose the Seminoles. He had been a verbal commitment to Miami previously but backed out of that commitment and began looking at other schools.

McCray is a 6'1" 205 pounder who becomes Florida's 19th verbal commitment.
